Chris Foulger is the President of HomeFed. As President, Mr. Foulger provides overall strategic direction for HomeFed’s operational and development entities. Prior to joining HomeFed in 2005, Mr. Foulger was Vice President of Cottonwood Partners, an office building developer and pension fund advisor with assets throughout the country. A member of the Urban Land Institute, he has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kent Aden is Senior Vice President and Senior Development Manager for HomeFed and President of HomeFed Communities. Mr. Aden joined the firm in 2012 and is responsible for overseeing master-planned communities in California and Florida, including securing entitlements, design, development and marketing. A licensed architect, he has 30 years of executive management experience in all phases planning, entitlements, land development and home building. He has been involved in the planning and development of 23,000 homes in Southern California. Mr. Aden is a Past President of the San Diego Building Industry Association (BIA) and chaired the 2008 Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC). He earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Erin Ruhe is Chief Operating Officer for HomeFed. Ms. Ruhe, who joined the company in 1995, is responsible for accounting and SEC reporting, budgeting, risk management, treasury, corporate governance, internal control compliance and human resources. Previously, she spent nine years with The Douglas Allred Company, a San Diego-based real estate development and asset management firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and a Certificate of Accounting from the University of California, San Diego.
Halé Richardson is Vice President for HomeFed and has been with the company since 1996. As a member of the core development team, Ms. Richardson collaborates on visioning and concept design for new communities. She also oversees preparation of California Bureau of Real Estate budgets, governing documents and development annexation documents. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA with emphases in Real Estate and Finance from the University of San Diego. Ms. Richardson is a member of the governing board of the Southwestern Community College Foundation and the board of advisors for South Bay Family YMCA. She is also a member of The Urban Land Institute.
Trevor Anderson, who has been with HomeFed since 2014, is the Director of EB-5 Financing. Mr. Anderson spent his early years at HomeFed constructing and managing the company’s financial models. Currently, he plays an integral role in HomeFed’s EB-5 offerings and spends much of his time managing the company’s foreign investment related marketing and compliance efforts. In addition to those responsibilities, he helps manage the company’s multifamily residential development projects. Trevor earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.
Brian Zirulnikoff, who has been with HomeFed since 2025, is the Director EB-5
Investor Relations. Mr. Zirulnikoff spent his early years at an EB-5 law firm preparing
EB-5 investor and regional center cases, sourcing and helping EB-5 investors with their EB-5
petitions’ source of funds, marketing, compliance and risk mitigation. Currently he’s managing
HomeFed’s EB-5 footprint globally and helping to grow its infrastructure. Brian earned a
Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University, and a Master
of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
